Fresno Metro Ministry is Building Partnerships for Community Well-Being.

Since 1970, Fresno Metro Ministry has actively advocated for the health and well-being of our community.  Join us in in honoring our 45-year history of community action, as we enter a new era of “Learning, Connecting and Engaging to Achieve Healthy People and Healthy Places.”

Serving as a community “convener” is a fundamental part of our history, and our future, as we build partnerships across all identities, traditions and boundaries.  Today, we pay homage to this meaningful history by facilitating new results-oriented partnerships among communities, businesses and institutions that will measurably increase resilience, health and prosperity in our region.  Our efforts are aimed at positively impacting conditions and opportunities for the diversity of people who live and work in Fresno and the San Joaquin Valley.

"I joined the Metro team because of the organization’s innovative methods of community development. Metro recognizes the need to elevate the conversation on improving Fresno with an approach that is inclusive and focuses on everyone’s talents and opportunities to produce real change."

"I want to be a facilitator for change... My work at Metro allows me to do so and remind people that we have not reached our final frontier and we need to work together to push the envelope for a better Fresno."
