The Better Blackstone Association is growing and wants to capture YOUR imagination about how amazing our city's backbone corridor can be!
Fresno Metro Ministry is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the Better Blackstone Project Manager position within our new Resilient Communities Program.
Communities and families thrive when we work together to build and expand businesses, create jobs and spur the conditions needed for economic development.
Ever heard of Serve Fresno Week? It's an opportunity for people from all over Fresno to work together to improve our community. Coordinated by Every Neighborhood Partnership, over 30 churches and organizations, including Fresno State and the City of Fresno, recruit community members, students and congregations to plant trees, remove graffiti, clean up alleys, beautify parks and facilitate activities for kids.
Better Blackstone is supported by the organizational and partnership building capacities of Fresno Metro Ministry and community development partner, the Relational Culture Institute (RCI). Initial financial investors in Better Blackstone Association development effort include the Resources Legacy Fund and the Fresno Regional Foundation.
