A Better Blackstone Means a Better Fresno!

Calling All Community Garden Supporters

The West Fresno Family Resource Center is breaking ground on a new community garden at their California & Elm Community Center located at 1802 E. California Ave. in Fresno. The "Growing Hope Community Garden" will function as a Horticultural Therapeutic Community Center, as well as an educational opportunity for youth and a source of fresh produce for the neighborhood.

As founders of the Fresno Community Garden Coalition, Metro is dedicated to providing structural, technical and network support to communities who have or wish to start a garden in their neighborhoods. The Coalition is a clearinghouse of information and ideas for those who want to see many gardens thrive in Fresno County.
